The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical
Based on the wonderful book series of Rick Riordan, this musical takes you through the adventures of Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. Follow Percy and his friends, the highly intelligent and quick witted Annabeth and the anxious but lovable hairball, Grover, on their journey across America. Meet the gods of old, battle dangerous mythical beasts, and find friends along the way.
Auditions will be held January 3rd and 4th with callbacks on January 5th. Auditions are for ages 16 and older only.
Please prepare 30 seconds to 1 minute of a prepared Broadway style piece to sing to an karaoke or instrumental track. If you are auditioning for a specific role, it is recommended that you audition with a song in a similar style of the character which you are auditioning for. If you are just auditioning for general ensemble, any Broadway style piece in the style of the show is acceptable.
Please wear comfortable clothes and dance shoes for the dance portion of the audition. You will also be asked to read from the script.
You will need to complete a conflict calendar before you will be cast in the show. Please fill out a conflict calendar and bring it with you to auditions. We will provide paper copies if you prefer to fill it out there. We require a conflict calendar before you will be cast in the show.
