Being born in Hollywood (Florida not California) should have been a clue into the path Wendy would take.  She began performing at a very young age, and her parents supported her talents by allowing her to train at Nova University and the University of Miami School of Music.  After moving to Georgia, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from Georgia State University while working for Motorola, Inc. in varying departments such as Executive Team, Research and Development, Intellectual Property, Customer Service, and Marketing.  She pursued a short career in banking before deciding to stay home and raise a family. At that point she became a “professional volunteer” serving as her church’s Music Director and Religious Education Director, her son’s Boy Scout Troop Leader, and an active member of Jefferson Community Theatre.  Wendy became the Music Director of Broadway Arts Center in Jefferson in 2013 and also began teaching private voice lessons.  This led her to work as the music director for the drama program at Jefferson High School in 2019 and 2020 and to become the music teacher for Compass Community Homeschool Co-op in 2021.  In 2018, Wendy incorporated her own non-profit theatre company, Rogue Spirit Productions, in the hopes of providing workshops and lessons to the community to help performers learn and grow in their talents and showcase them through performance.  She and her husband Mark have six children whom they homeschool.
